El objetivo: ofrecer un mejor servicio al cliente, mejorar la eficiencia y capacitar a los empleados para impulsar cambios que mejoren la consistencia y la calidad del producto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kaizen, palabra que significa \"cambio para bien\" en japon\u00e9s, es un proceso sin\u00f3nimo de mejora continua que ha crecido hasta convertirse en un popular enfoque corporativo de la innovaci\u00f3n sist\u00e9mica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dykstra ve en el enfoque Kaizen una gran oportunidad de crecimiento para Ipsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Para m\u00ed, Kaizen es la capacidad de entender que una organizaci\u00f3n no es perfecta, los procesos no son perfectos, y nos ayuda a abrir los ojos a esas imperfecciones. A finales de 2024, el Departamento de Recambios de Ipsen experiment\u00f3 un aumento de ventas de 40% en tres a\u00f1os. Entre ellos estaban Christina Connelly, Directora de Piezas ICS de Ipsen, y Evan Hundley, Director de Retrofits de Ipsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Es importante que todos est\u00e9n de acuerdo, que entiendan la visi\u00f3n\", explica Connelly. \"Kaizen representa el principio para que los empleados no s\u00f3lo est\u00e9n de acuerdo con los cambios, sino que quieran guiarlos y formar parte de ellos. Establece relaciones entre departamentos que ayudan a crear una visi\u00f3n compartida\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como explic\u00f3 Connelly, \"Kaizen nos da permiso para analizar en profundidad un proceso e identificar los beneficios r\u00e1pidos que podr\u00edamos empezar a aplicar de inmediato, al tiempo que fijamos objetivos para abordar los problemas de mayor envergadura que podamos encontrar.\" Uno de los sistemas que analizaron en el departamento de recambios fue la actualizaci\u00f3n de un sistema de distribuci\u00f3n de pedidos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"En el momento de nuestro primer evento Kaizen, el equipo de recambios ten\u00eda tres empleados, lo que simplificaba mucho la comunicaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, cuando nos dimos cuenta de que necesit\u00e1bamos ampliar el equipo, los sistemas que ten\u00edamos para gestionar la entrada de pedidos no eran lo bastante robustos ni ampliables\", recuerda Connelly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A medida que el departamento crec\u00eda hasta contar con catorce empleados, el sistema de solicitud de presupuestos (RFQ) tambi\u00e9n se hizo m\u00e1s s\u00f3lido. Lo que antes era una lista de distribuci\u00f3n de Outlook se convirti\u00f3 en un sistema de seguimiento, ahora vinculado con Salesforce CRM, para gestionar todas las solicitudes entrantes. Fue incre\u00edble verlo\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para Hundley, identificar oportunidades de mejora puede ir desde eliminar esas molestas tareas repetitivas hasta garantizar que ning\u00fan miembro del equipo sea la \u00fanica persona con informaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica que, de perderse, descarrilar\u00eda significativamente la producci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Una premisa con la que me gusta trabajar es preguntarnos: '\u00bfQu\u00e9 pasar\u00eda si a una persona cualquiera le tocara la loter\u00eda y se fuera al d\u00eda siguiente?' \u00bfC\u00f3mo proceder\u00edamos?\". Hundley explic\u00f3 por qu\u00e9 es tan importante esta l\u00ednea de preguntas: \"Si no lo sabes, es hora de identificar las partes y procesos en los que confiamos plenamente en el conocimiento tribal y eliminarlos del sistema. Podemos identificar la necesidad de un proceso claramente definido, sin tener problemas si el empleado consigue ese boleto ganador y vuela a Hawai\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ya se trate de un problema sist\u00e9mico grande o peque\u00f1o, Hundley aboga por invertir tiempo en identificar los cambios necesarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Incluso si se trata de eliminar un proceso de 5 minutos, cuando se hace ese proceso varias veces al d\u00eda, se puede perder mucho tiempo. Si dedicas una hora a encontrar una soluci\u00f3n al problema, recuperar\u00e1s ese tiempo en un par de semanas\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Es f\u00e1cil entender por qu\u00e9 el enfoque Kaizen es valioso para Ipsen si se tiene en cuenta el panorama general: la satisfacci\u00f3n del cliente impulsa directamente las ventas futuras. Invertir tiempo en asegurarse de que los empleados pueden encontrar formas m\u00e1s r\u00e1pidas y mejores de suministrar las piezas correctas y prestar el mejor servicio tiene sentido, tanto a corto como a largo plazo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Cuando vendemos un equipo nuevo, es importante pensar que vamos a prestar asistencia al cliente durante toda la vida \u00fatil del horno.
