El tratamiento t\u00e9rmico es, por tanto, el proceso m\u00e1s afectado por la inminente transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica. Sin embargo, desde otra perspectiva, tambi\u00e9n puede decirse que es donde existe el mayor potencial para configurar con \u00e9xito la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En todos los pa\u00edses industrializados del mundo se observa un aumento de las energ\u00edas renovables en las redes el\u00e9ctricas. El objetivo pol\u00edtico en la mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses es lograr la completa neutralidad de los gases de efecto invernadero en las redes el\u00e9ctricas entre 2045 y 2050. Como ocurre con todos los objetivos pol\u00edticos, la velocidad del proceso de transformaci\u00f3n puede verse frenada o acelerada por las distintas corrientes pol\u00edticas. Los distintos pa\u00edses tambi\u00e9n tienen estrategias diferentes. En resumen, puede decirse que la direcci\u00f3n est\u00e1 clara, pero la velocidad de la transformaci\u00f3n es dif\u00edcil de estimar. Quiz\u00e1 la neutralidad de los gases de efecto invernadero no se alcance hasta 2065. Sin embargo, cualquiera que encargue hoy un horno se enfrentar\u00e1 a la cuesti\u00f3n aunque la transformaci\u00f3n sea mucho m\u00e1s lenta, dentro de los 40 a\u00f1os de vida \u00fatil t\u00edpica de un horno. Todos los responsables de inversiones con los que hablamos son conscientes de ello.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La mayor desventaja de la electricidad renovable es su escasa capacidad de almacenamiento. La tecnolog\u00eda de las bater\u00edas sigue avanzando y ya es una alternativa real a los coches con motor de combusti\u00f3n en el sector automovil\u00edstico. Sin embargo, los coches particulares suelen utilizarse s\u00f3lo durante una hora y las 23 horas restantes del d\u00eda est\u00e1n disponibles para su recarga. La tecnolog\u00eda de las bater\u00edas tiene menos sentido para los sistemas de calefacci\u00f3n industrial, que tienen que funcionar 24 horas al d\u00eda, de 5 a 7 d\u00edas a la semana por razones de eficiencia. Por lo tanto, si se opta por la electrificaci\u00f3n total para calentar un sistema de calefacci\u00f3n, se pasa a depender del precio de la electricidad, que depende en gran medida de la normativa gubernamental y es, por t\u00e9rmino medio, unas 2-3 veces superior al precio del gas natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La mayor\u00eda de las tarifas el\u00e9ctricas son independientes de la hora del d\u00eda y la estaci\u00f3n del a\u00f1o. Tambi\u00e9n hay l\u00edmites a los picos de electricidad para los grandes consumidores. Sin embargo, en la bolsa europea, el precio de la electricidad para el d\u00eda siguiente se fija siempre al mediod\u00eda, en funci\u00f3n de la hora del d\u00eda (precio para el d\u00eda siguiente). Para que un proveedor ofrezca una tarifa independiente de la hora, debe tener en cuenta las fluctuaciones y cubrirlas con recargos de riesgo. Los proveedores de electricidad rara vez est\u00e1n dispuestos a que sus tarifas sean deficitarias (EDF de Francia es probablemente una excepci\u00f3n en este caso). El riesgo para un proveedor de electricidad se limita eligiendo la fuente de energ\u00eda m\u00e1s cara (a menudo gas natural) en caso de duda y dividi\u00e9ndola por la eficiencia correspondiente de generaci\u00f3n de electricidad (30-40%). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto explica tambi\u00e9n por qu\u00e9 el precio de la electricidad es 2 \u00f3 3 veces superior al del gas natural. En el futuro cabe esperar la misma dependencia del precio del hidr\u00f3geno. La electricidad verde costar\u00e1 2-3 veces m\u00e1s que el hidr\u00f3geno si se vuelve a convertir en electricidad a partir de las instalaciones de almacenamiento de hidr\u00f3geno. Sin embargo, si se dispone de energ\u00eda solar o e\u00f3lica, esto s\u00f3lo se aplica a la parte que se produce adicionalmente. Esto se debe a que la electricidad verde casi s\u00f3lo tiene costes fijos, ya que no hay que comprar combustible para su generaci\u00f3n. A menudo est\u00e1 a disposici\u00f3n de las empresas de forma casi gratuita en determinadas cantidades a trav\u00e9s de sus propias plantas de generaci\u00f3n, sin necesidad de utilizar redes el\u00e9ctricas externas. Debido a las complicadas interrelaciones del mercado el\u00e9ctrico, en la actualidad existen incluso precios de la electricidad negativos, ya que el consumo rara vez se adapta al volumen de generaci\u00f3n y no todas las centrales el\u00e9ctricas pueden cerrarse a voluntad. La llamada carga base de una central el\u00e9ctrica, por debajo de la cual no puede reducirse, perturba por tanto en cierta medida las redes. Esto ocurre con mayor frecuencia los domingos y festivos de verano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tanto los operadores de red (en la red ENTSO-E) como los legisladores est\u00e1n presionando para que las tarifas el\u00e9ctricas dependan del tiempo. En Alemania, por ejemplo, los proveedores de electricidad estar\u00e1n obligados a ofrecer tarifas en funci\u00f3n del tiempo a los consumidores con un consumo anual de 6 MW a 100 MW a partir de 2025 y a todos los grandes consumidores a partir de 2028 (ley de contadores inteligentes). En otros pa\u00edses, como Francia y los Pa\u00edses Bajos, ya existen tarifas de este tipo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por lo tanto, tendremos que replante\u00e1rnoslo en los pr\u00f3ximos 1 a 4 a\u00f1os. El precio de la electricidad puede fluctuar de muy barato a muy caro cada hora o cada cuarto de hora. En lugar de adquirir electricidad muy cara de fuentes almacenables, parece m\u00e1s sensato quemar directamente hidr\u00f3geno con un rendimiento de unos 80%, por ejemplo, y utilizar gas natural hasta que se haya construido una infraestructura adecuada. La elecci\u00f3n de la fuente de energ\u00eda debe basarse autom\u00e1ticamente en los siguientes criterios: Tan neutra en CO2 como sea posible o tan rentable como sea posible (lo que muy a menudo se cumple simult\u00e1neamente). Un empleado no puede controlar manualmente este tipo de variabilidad, ya que una reacci\u00f3n a corto plazo las 24 horas del d\u00eda no es razonable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tambi\u00e9n es importante mantener en funcionamiento al menos la parte de tratamiento t\u00e9rmico de la producci\u00f3n durante los fines de semana, que tambi\u00e9n deber\u00eda estar totalmente automatizada para que tenga sentido desde el punto de vista econ\u00f3mico y social. Los lunes por la ma\u00f1ana, en cambio, ser\u00e1n en el futuro un momento t\u00edpico para repasar y preparar los lotes, ya que es cuando la electricidad es muy cara y, por tanto, tambi\u00e9n suele ser intensiva en CO2. De este modo, las fluctuaciones a algo m\u00e1s largo plazo tambi\u00e9n pueden equilibrarse con sensatez.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sin embargo, las mayores fluctuaciones se producir\u00e1n entre el verano y el invierno. Entre diciembre (a excepci\u00f3n del periodo entre Navidad y A\u00f1o Nuevo) y febrero, habr\u00e1 que recurrir a grandes instalaciones de almacenamiento de energ\u00eda. Sin embargo, el tipo de almacenamiento utilizado cambiar\u00e1: de las instalaciones subterr\u00e1neas de almacenamiento de gas natural f\u00f3sil, las reservas de petr\u00f3leo y carb\u00f3n a las instalaciones de almacenamiento de energ\u00edas renovables, como el hidr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El concepto ATLAS Green est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ado para adaptarse con flexibilidad a todas las condiciones descritas anteriormente. Para ello, se instalan tanto quemadores como calefactores el\u00e9ctricos, que pueden funcionar de forma individual o conjunta. Los quemadores pueden funcionar con gas natural 100%, hidr\u00f3geno 100% o propano 100%, as\u00ed como con cualquier mezcla de estos gases. Para evitar emisiones innecesarias de NOx, los quemadores funcionan sin llama y alcanzan un rendimiento de entre 78% y 85%, seg\u00fan la variante.
