Sa seule utilit\u00e9 est d'emp\u00eacher la formation de boues et le gel du liquide de refroidissement.<br><br><strong>PROPYL\u00c8NE GLYCOL (PG)<\/strong><br>C'est le liquide rose que nous avons actuellement dans les radiateurs de nos voitures. Son co\u00fbt est environ 20 % plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 que celui de l'EG, il a un certain impact sur le transfert de chaleur en raison de sa viscosit\u00e9 \u00e9lev\u00e9e, il peut affecter les performances de la pompe et il est n\u00e9cessaire \u00e0 des concentrations l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es que l'EG pour une protection \u00e9quivalente contre le gel. En particulier si vous comptez sur eux pour alimenter votre four \u00e0 vide en eau froide pendant toute la dur\u00e9e de l'hiver.
