Au moment de la fusion d'Abar et d'Ipsen en 1985, les fours verticaux sous vide faisaient l'objet d'une demande constante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alors que ces fours pouvaient faire \u00e0 peu pr\u00e8s tout ce que leurs homologues horizontaux pouvaient faire (recuit, c\u00e9mentation, trempe, revenu, etc.), les fours verticaux \u00e9taient les seuls \u00e0 pouvoir d\u00e9livrer de la chaleur et de l'humidit\u00e9. <a href=\"https:\/\/ipsenglobal.com\/fr\/knowledge-center\/quenching-technology-and-vacuum-heat-treating\/\">trempe<\/a> avec un haut niveau de contr\u00f4le pour des pi\u00e8ces cylindriques tr\u00e8s grandes ou tr\u00e8s longues avec des \u00e9paisseurs variables. Imaginez une coupe transversale du fuselage d'un avion ou la tuy\u00e8re d'une fus\u00e9e orbitale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Les entreprises de traitement thermique cherchaient \u00e0 augmenter la capacit\u00e9 d'un four en un seul chargement. Essayer de charger une pi\u00e8ce qui est grande ou profonde dans un four horizontal devient un probl\u00e8me\", ajoute Jim Grann, directeur technique d'Ipsen. \"Lorsque vous avez une pi\u00e8ce de six pieds de diam\u00e8tre et de 25 pieds de profondeur, comment la charger et la d\u00e9charger dans un four horizontal ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les fours \u00e0 vide verticaux \u00e0 chargement par le bas permettaient de poser d'\u00e9normes pi\u00e8ces comme celle-ci \u00e0 plat sur la sole ou de les suspendre par le haut sur un gabarit \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de la zone chaude. Les ing\u00e9nieurs pouvaient ainsi tirer parti de la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie de l'ensemble du diam\u00e8tre de la chambre, sans \u00eatre limit\u00e9s par la largeur de la section transversale de l'enceinte sous pression \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes hauteurs au-dessus de la sole, comme c'est le cas dans un four horizontal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:15px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\"Si j'ai une pi\u00e8ce que je pose dans un berceau sur une sole et qu'elle va cro\u00eetre d'une mani\u00e8re telle que je ne peux pas contr\u00f4ler le coefficient de dilatation, le poids peut entra\u00eener une d\u00e9formation de la pi\u00e8ce. Heninger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Comparons cela \u00e0 un four horizontal qui n\u00e9cessiterait un chargeur avec de longues fourches alimentant ces pi\u00e8ces gigantesques en profondeur dans la zone chaude. Veiller \u00e0 ce que les fourches restent rigides et parall\u00e8les sur une longue distance pour placer la charge sans heurter les \u00e9l\u00e9ments de la zone chaude peut s'av\u00e9rer co\u00fbteux\", ajoute M. Grann. L'achat ou la construction d'un syst\u00e8me de chargement capable de supporter cette rigidit\u00e9 sur une longue distance peut augmenter consid\u00e9rablement le co\u00fbt de l'installation. Le stockage d'un tel chargeur lorsqu'il n'est pas utilis\u00e9 ajoute encore \u00e0 l'encombrement global.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.67%\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Looking for More - Au-del\u00e0 des grosses pi\u00e8ces<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cependant, tous ceux qui ach\u00e8tent un four vertical sous vide n'ont pas un flux constant de pi\u00e8ces gigantesques. \"Nous avions une hypoth\u00e8se que nous avons modifi\u00e9e il y a environ trois ans. Nous pensions que les gens ach\u00e8teraient ces fours verticaux pour pouvoir y placer de grosses pi\u00e8ces. Aujourd'hui, nous voyons des utilisateurs construire des installations avec de grandes plaques rondes, comme un four \u00e0 pizza\", explique M. Grann \u00e0 propos de cette tendance. La demande de traitement de pi\u00e8ces plus petites entre les commandes de pi\u00e8ces plus grandes est \u00e0 l'origine de l'innovation syst\u00e9mique dans la conception des montages. Outre les plates-formes \u00e0 plusieurs niveaux, les syst\u00e8mes de panier et les supports suspendus ont tir\u00e9 parti du plus grand volume global utilisable disponible dans un four vertical sous vide pour les pi\u00e8ces de dimensions \u00e9tranges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"Cette demande d'utilisation de dispositifs de fixation pour manipuler des pi\u00e8ces plus petites a modifi\u00e9 la fa\u00e7on dont nous envisagions la conception des zones de contr\u00f4le\", a fait remarquer M. Grann. En raison de la demande de l'industrie a\u00e9rospatiale pour des relev\u00e9s de temp\u00e9rature pr\u00e9cis et la surveillance des processus, des positions suppl\u00e9mentaires pour la surveillance des thermocouples dans la conception des fours verticaux sous vide ont permis de g\u00e9rer des processus qui traitaient simultan\u00e9ment des pi\u00e8ces avec une large gamme de g\u00e9om\u00e9tries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"M\u00eame si un four vertical est tr\u00e8s haut, une grande partie de la masse des pi\u00e8ces peut se trouver au fond de la chambre, avec la sole et le dispositif de fixation\", explique M. Heninger. \"Les clients peuvent utiliser une charge partielle, les pi\u00e8ces ne remontant que jusqu'\u00e0 une certaine hauteur dans la chambre. Les fours \u00e0 chargement par le haut excellent dans la manipulation de composants exceptionnellement longs, tels que les tubes de plus de 300 pouces de long\", a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Heninger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parfois descendus dans une fosse au-dessous du niveau du sol, ces fours pouvaient traiter le durcissement d'arbres de transmission massifs pour toutes sortes de pi\u00e8ces, des gros camions aux navires de haute mer. \"Pour un chargeur par le haut, vous avez besoin d'une zone pour le four, mais aussi d'une zone pour la pi\u00e8ce \u00e0 descendre dans le four\", explique M. Heninger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Imaginez des pistons gargantuesques de la taille d'un semi-remorque poussant des arbres \u00e0 cames de la longueur d'un navire. Pour chaque navire qui traverse l'oc\u00e9an, chaque piston et chaque arbre doit subir un traitement thermique. En particulier, la maintenance des zones chaudes est plus compliqu\u00e9e lorsque vos techniciens doivent se trouver \u00e0 un ou deux \u00e9tages au-dessus de l'atelier pour remplacer les pi\u00e8ces consommables. Des consid\u00e9rations suppl\u00e9mentaires sont li\u00e9es \u00e0 la gestion de l'interface humaine - \u00e9chelles, passerelles et mains courantes. Et, bien s\u00fbr, la hauteur du toit de l'\u00e9tablissement limitera la taille du four. \"Les installateurs et les monteurs ont appris \u00e0 faire attention \u00e0 l'emplacement du pont roulant, afin qu'il ne se coince pas du mauvais c\u00f4t\u00e9 d'un four vertical ou qu'il ne perde pas la moiti\u00e9 de sa port\u00e9e\", se souvient M. Kowalewski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les installations d'un four vertical sous vide sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus \u00e9labor\u00e9es pour tirer parti de l'espace et co\u00fbtent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement plus cher que celles d'un four horizontal. Et m\u00eame si les fours \u00e0 chargement par le bas occupent moins d'espace au sol lorsqu'ils fonctionnent, ils n\u00e9cessitent encore de l'espace suppl\u00e9mentaire. \"Les fours verticaux \u00e0 chargement par le bas ont toujours besoin d'espace pour que la sole puisse s'abaisser et s'\u00e9loigner de la base du four afin de charger et d\u00e9charger les pi\u00e8ces\", note M. Kowalewski.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\"En outre, les recettes verticales et horizontales ne sont pas n\u00e9cessairement interchangeables. Le passage d'un proc\u00e9d\u00e9 d'une machine horizontale \u00e0 une machine verticale peut n\u00e9cessiter une nouvelle certification du proc\u00e9d\u00e9 avant que la production ne puisse se poursuivre\", a ajout\u00e9 M.
