Il feltro di grafite a 1150 \u00b0C ha 0,14 W\/mK. Pertanto, il feltro di grafite ha 0,11 W\/mK in meno rispetto al pannello di grafite, o 44% in meno di perdita di calore dovuta alla riduzione della conduttivit\u00e0 termica.<br><br><em>(W\/mK, o watt per metro Kelvin, \u00e8 l'unit\u00e0 che misura il tasso di trasferimento del calore attraverso un materiale).<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>Per molti anni, le sezioni trasversali dell'isolamento dei forni Ipsen contenevano spesso un pannello di grafite da 1\" e due sezioni da \u00bd\" di feltro di grafite tra il lato caldo e il plenum. Un sottile strato di foglio di grafite proteggeva il lato caldo. La lamina di grafite e il pannello lavoravano insieme per fungere da strato rigido progettato per resistere ai danni causati da piccole parti che cadono nella zona calda durante le operazioni di carico e scarico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se si osserva un nuovo forno a vuoto Ipsen, si noter\u00e0 che i nostri standard sono cambiati. I forni Ipsen di oggi vengono offerti con quattro strati di feltro di grafite da \u00bd\" dietro un sottile strato di lastre di carbonio-carbonio. Se necessario, in alcuni forni Ipsen \u00e8 possibile installare uno scudo in carbonio-carbonio sul bordo anteriore della zona calda per prevenire i danni causati dall'erosione del vento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I gestori di forni che cercano una zona calda sostitutiva sono spesso incoraggiati a passare a un pacchetto di isolamento della zona calda interamente in feltro, anche se su richiesta del cliente \u00e8 possibile fornire una zona calda in cartoncino e feltro. Molti utenti si chiedono: perch\u00e9 cambiare?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Il caso dell'isolamento in feltro integrale<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>L'isolamento termico funziona meglio quando la densit\u00e0 \u00e8 minore: un isolamento a bassa densit\u00e0 \u00e8 pi\u00f9 efficace nel limitare il trasferimento di energia termica rispetto ai materiali a densit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 elevata. Sebbene il pannello di grafite sia progettato per essere poroso, gli spazi vuoti pi\u00f9 ampi nel materiale simile al tessuto del feltro di grafite riducono notevolmente il trasferimento di energia termica per conduzione. In questo modo, il feltro consente a un flusso di calore inferiore di raggiungere il plenum e la parete fredda della camera, proteggendo entrambi in modo pi\u00f9 efficace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E la differenza \u00e8 significativa. Confrontando l'uso di una combinazione di pannelli e feltro con una soluzione interamente in feltro, i nostri ingegneri hanno osservato che c'\u00e8 circa una <strong>10% aumento complessivo della perdita di calore per un isolamento in feltro da 1\" pi\u00f9 un pannello da 1\".<\/strong> rispetto a una configurazione simile che utilizza esclusivamente 2\" di feltro di grafite.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-white-color has-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-elements-7e20016ec149850248d6fbfbbfb6eb9c\">La differenza complessiva di 10% nella perdita di calore si riferisce alla riduzione della perdita totale di calore attraverso l'intera zona calda. Il miglioramento dell'isolamento termico di 44% che l'isolamento in feltro offre fa una grande differenza nella perdita di calore, ma non racconta l'intera storia.<br><br>La perdita di calore \u00e8 causata da due fattori: 1) la conduzione del calore attraverso l'isolamento e 2) la conduzione del calore lungo le penetrazioni (ganci degli elementi, bocchette di raffreddamento, montanti del focolare) attraverso l'isolamento. In linea di massima, la perdita di calore attraverso l'isolamento costituisce circa 60% della perdita di calore totale, mentre la perdita di calore lungo le penetrazioni costituisce le altre 40%.<br><br>Si tenga inoltre presente che il nuovo standard sostituisce solo 1\" di isolamento in pannelli con feltro di qualsiasi spessore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:60%\">\n<p>Il feltro di grafite ha anche un'elasticit\u00e0 sufficiente per resistere all'espansione termica e si \u00e8 dimostrato pi\u00f9 facile da mantenere. Per sostituire il feltro \u00e8 sufficiente rimuovere la superficie calda in fibra di carbonio, tagliare il feltro danneggiato con un paio di forbici o un taglierino e sostituire la sezione con un nuovo pezzo di feltro tagliato a misura. Inoltre, \u00e8 pi\u00f9 facile manovrare il feltro intorno ai punti di montaggio e agli ugelli. Un utensile da taglio portatile consente di effettuare tagli precisi intorno ai punti di ingresso durante l'installazione. Un rotolo di feltro di grafite da tenere a portata di mano pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato per le riparazioni di emergenza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L'espansione e la contrazione termica possono occasionalmente causare la comparsa di crepe in alcune sezioni del pannello di grafite. Col tempo, queste crepe possono crescere fino a rendere necessaria la sostituzione del pannello. Poich\u00e9 il pannello di grafite \u00e8 un materiale pi\u00f9 rigido e denso, deve essere lavorato con cura per adattarsi al pezzo da sostituire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le fibre intrecciate del foglio di carbonio-carbonio lo rendono molto pi\u00f9 resistente alla lacerazione e alla fragilit\u00e0 rispetto alla lamina, mentre la comprimibilit\u00e0 del feltro \u00e8 migliore nell'assorbire lo shock della caduta e del ritorno. Le tavole sono anche pi\u00f9 soggette all'erosione del vento nelle fessure e nei fori, con un effetto negativo sulla longevit\u00e0 della tavola.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column
