Cherry Valley, ILLINOIS (June 9, 2026) – Ipsen USA has launched its 2026 Summer Internship Program, welcoming seven interns from universities across the Midwest and Northeast to gain hands-on experience in engineering, finance, purchasing, quality documentation, and retrofit operations.

This year’s intern class includes returning interns Eli S., Abbie J., and Eli D., who previously participated in Ipsen’s 2025 Summer Internship Program and have returned to further expand their industry knowledge and professional experience.

The 2026 intern class includes:

  • Jacob M., Purchasing – Rockford University
  • Abbie J., Mechanical Engineering – Northern Illinois University
  • Emma K., Quality Documentation & Warranty (QDW) – Indiana Tech
  • Eli D., Controls Engineering – Milwaukee School of Engineering
  • Taelor P., Finance – University of Iowa
  • Eli S., Retrofits – Rock Valley College
  • Kira C., Engineering (Souderton) – Clarkson University

Throughout the summer, interns will work alongside experienced professionals on department-specific projects that apply classroom knowledge to real-world manufacturing challenges. Projects this year include supporting furnace design, implementing new controls technology, documenting retrofit processes, assisting purchasing and finance operations, and contributing to engineering, quality, and technical documentation initiatives.

The internship program is designed to help students build technical skills, gain hands-on industry experience, and explore future career opportunities.

Kira, an engineering intern based at Ipsen’s Souderton facility, hopes to apply her experience toward a future career in the aerospace industry: “After graduation, I would like to work on satellite design. This internship will allow me to improve my design skills and apply them to real-world applications.”

Taelor, a finance intern, sees this as an opportunity to develop both technical and professional skills: “I’m hoping to strengthen my professional communication skills while furthering my understanding of the financial processes that support a business.”

The 2026 internship program will conclude in August with final presentations to Ipsen leadership, allowing interns to showcase the projects and accomplishments completed throughout the summer.
