Cherry Valley, ILLINOIS (February 17, 2023) – Ipsen’s comprehensive training course in vacuum equipment, Ipsen U, is returning in 2023 with some upgrades. Expanded course offerings will dig deeper into metallurgy, thermal processes, troubleshooting and furnace mechanics. The curriculum will also be tailored for each class based on attendees’ industries, job functions and types of furnaces used.
The three-day course, taught by Ipsen subject matter experts, teaches heat-treatment fundamentals and industry best practices and incorporates hands-on training. The course is appropriate for anyone who manages, maintains, or operates vacuum furnace equipment.

Classes for 2023 are scheduled to take place April 11-13, June 6-8, August 8-10, and October 3-5. All classes are located at Ipsen’s Vacuum Technology Excellence Center, 984 Ipsen Road in Cherry Valley, IL.
